Move from idea to execution faster with the Teamwork.com-ChatGPT Connector

In case you missed it, we’re super excited to be the first project and resource management platform that’s purpose-built for client services teams to connect with ChatGPT.

You've probably heard of the slew of TeamworkAI features you can take advantage of right now within the platform. But with the Teamwork.com-ChatGPT Connector, paid users of ChatGPT on Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu accounts can now use the power of ChatGPT alongside your Teamwork.com data to assist with just about anything you can think of.

Want a summary of overdue tasks by project? How about insights into which clients are veering toward the over-budget territory? Or what about a quick recap that analyzes all of your resourcing options for the upcoming week? If you need to research, plan, or create any type of work, the Connector is here to make your life way easier.

Plus, setting it up is a cinch—just a few clicks and you're ready to move from idea to execution ASAP.

Kiss conversion headaches goodbye with Multi-currency

Juggling clients and teams who are located around the world? Multi-currency is the feature for you!

You can now set different currencies per client and define user cost rates in any currency, helping you manage global work without manual conversions.

When adding a new client, you’ll now see a “Currency” field as an option. Once you set it, every future project for that client will automatically default to their specific currency, including budgets, time logs, and expenses.

With rates localized and conversions happening automatically, the result isn’t just a better client experience and time back on your side. It’s an accurate picture of profitability and a better grasp of your overall finances.

From yen to Euro and everything in between, Multi-currency is going to change the way you track finances in Teamwork.com. And best of all, you can ditch the calculator and conversion apps going forward.

See the full picture with Google Calendar in Planning views

For Scale users who live and breathe by your Google Calendar, a more accurate and holistic view of your team's availability has landed, thanks to the addition of Google Calendar in Planning views.

Now there’s no need to calendar hop when you can bring real world commitments and tasks into one integrated view. That means planning with more confidence and accuracy with full visibility of external events alongside your actual work.

  • Real availability: You can now see how Google Calendar events contribute to your team's capacity across all areas where availability is calculated (that includes the Workload Planner, Resource Scheduler, Utilization Reports, and Custom User Reports), giving you a clear view of each person’s actual capacity for billable and non-billable work.

  • Better forecasting and scheduling: Yep, that means no more double-booking or over-allocating people when they’re not really available.

  • Higher confidence: Whether you're a resource manager or a project planner, you can trust that the data in Planning views reflects reality, leading to better decisions and happier teams.

  • An extra advantage: Finally, Google Calendar events are considered when calculating a user's availability, resulting in real availability every time.

Small but mighty improvements to two top integrations

  • For Grow and Scale users of our Outlook integration, we've made some improvements to the sync, including that single-instance events can now be edited.Blog post imageThis is a really nice win that not only provides more value if you're an Outlook user, but it also assists with day-to-day calendar event planning so you have full visibility in Teamwork.com.

  • We’re also excited to share that custom field mapping of the Teamwork.com-Salesforce integration has now been released to all Scale customers! Blog post imageThat means you can now configure custom field mappings between Salesforce opportunity custom fields and Teamwork.com project custom fields, giving you full control over how additional opportunity data is imported into Teamwork.com projects. Get ready to create more tailored integrations that extend beyond the basic project creation capabilities that existed previously.

Get AI-fueled insights with the Teamwork Desk MCP server

Following the release of the Teamwork.com MCP server a few months ago, we’re excited to have Teamwork Desk join its company, allowing you to use an LLM to query data from your Teamwork Desk account, ultimately automating actions within Teamwork Desk.

Say you want to show Desk tickets that meet specific criteria, or even tailored Desk reporting metrics. It's all possible thanks to the Teamwork Desk MCP server.

Your LLM client will have access to data like help doc articles, ticket priorities and statuses, companies, business hours, and more to help you distill complex data into actionable insights.

Here's one quick example of how you could use it: Ask your LLM a prompt like, "Rank agent productivity over the past 30 days." From there, it can take into account metrics like happiness ratings and the number of replies it takes to solve the tickets to give you a jumping off point for agent productivity. The possibilities are pretty endless!

You can find out more about both MCP servers here
